Oni Press has revealed a new variant cover for Archie #1 that will go on sale at 12:01 a.m. on October 7, 2026, alongside Sabrina #1. The open-to-order variant by Chloe Brailsford matches a special Sabrina variant with a “Pyre Satanic” logo, a parody of the Spire Christian comics imprint published by Archie Comics in the 1970s and 1980s.
Oni’s planned midnight release puts Sabrina #1 and the Archie variant on the racks at the same time as the launch issues for three Marvel Midnight Universe series (see “Oni Piggybacks on Marvel’s Plans with ‘Sabrina’ Release“).
Archie #1 will go on sale on September 2 (see “Oni Announces New Writer for ‘Archie’“), but the new variant will not be available until October 7.
