GAMA announced the candidates for five board of director positions and the Team Retail positions.
The seats available are for two-year terms that run from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2028. The candidates for the five board seats (one per member group) are as follows:
- Media & Events: KP Upadhyayula, Nicole Brady, Brent Webb, Ken Whitman, Paul McKelvey, Mercutio “Mer” Behan, and Grant Mielke.
- Publisher: Heather O’Neill, Eric Chen, Laura Hohman, Ryan Lumax, Keven Brusky, and Christopher Landauer.
- Creator: Eartha Johnson and Will Major.
- Production: Michael Maggiotto Jr., Nick Haas, and Matt Peck.
- Wholesaler: Tiffany Reid and Andrew Ciccarone.
Team Retail will elect a member to serve on the board of directors once the positions for their group are filled. The following candidates are running for Team Retail positions: Brandon Toyzan, Nick Jones, Kristin Brunetto, Boyd Stephenson, Christina Smith, Lea-Anne Welter, Adam Schotz, Heather Rothwell, Jeff Croff, Erik Vanzant, Kelly Gowens, Gwendolyn Loch, Anthony Economos, Dylan Roberts, Christopher Troiano, David Wheeler, George Machado, Gregg McCleary, William Buck, Daniel Stephens, Shawn Hendrix, Jamie Mathy, and Roger Campbell.
The results of the election will be announced on March 25, 2026.
The GAMA Board of Directors recently withdrew two recommended resolutions affecting governance of the organization and apologized for a contentious membership meeting on the topic at GAMA Expo (see ” Pulls Governance Resolutions, Apologizes“).
