Archon Studios will release Two-Players Starter Set – Founder’s Edition, for Starcraft: The Miniatures Game, into retail in May 2026.
Starcraft: The Miniatures Game was announced almost a year ago in March 2025 (see “Archon Studio Announces ‘Starcraft’ Miniatures Game“) as part of a licensing partnership between Archon and Blizzard Entertainment. The core product for the new miniatures game is a two-player starter set that pits the Zerg swarm, headed by Kerrigan, the Queen of Blades, against a rebel Terran army, helmed by Jim Raynor. Players will build up their armies and battle to complete key objectives in the Koprulu sector.
The boxed set comes with a cloth playmat map, 12 Marine miniatures, 2 Marauder miniatures, 3 Medic miniatures, a Jim Raynor miniature, a Point Defense Drone miniature, 24 Zergling miniatures, 3 Roach miniatures, a Queen miniature, a Kerrigan miniature, an Omega Worm miniature, bases, 15 terrain pieces, 48 cards, a rules reference, an Assembly Manual, a ruler, 20 D6 dice, and 60 tokens. It will retail for $229.
