Alderac Entertainment Group showcased two board games from Flatout Games at their GAMA Expo 2026 booth.
Forage, designed by Molly Johnson, Robert Melvin, and Shawn Stankewich with illustrations by Beth Sobel, is a roll-and-write game where players gather plants, berries, and mushrooms to gain knowledge, craft recipes, and more. They will select cards from a changing tableau as they forage across the Pacific Northwest for the best ingredients. The game is for one to six players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 15 to 30 minutes.
In Honeypot, by Joseph Z. Chen with art by Kwanchi Moriya and Brigette Indelicato, players assume the roles of bear secret agents trying to get the best intel to obtain the sweetest honey and avoid getting stung by a swarm of bees. It is an I Stack, You Choose game that supports one to six players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 15 to 30 minutes.
Both games are currently on Kickstarter and have raised $114,484 from 3,509 backers (about $33 per backer). They are slated to hit retail in September 2026.
Flatout Games also designed the Spiel des Jahres-winning game Cascadia (see “Spiel des Jahres Winners Announced“).
