The horror miniseries Odin, written by James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children) and Marguerite Bennett (Witchblade), is coming in May from Tiny Onion and Image Comics.

The story is about a journalist reporting undercover on a group of white supremacists.  She follows the Neo-Nazis to the frozen wilds of Norway, where they worship the titular god.  The book is described as a “relentless hallucinogenic thriller that leaves absolutely no taboo unbroken.”

Tynion said, in reference to working with Bennett, “we started talking about what the real norse Odin would do with these idiots if he had the chance.  It felt pretty immediately clear that there was a mean and brutal horror story in it, and we wanted to tell it together.”

Art is by Letizia Cadonici (House of Slaughter) with colors by Jordie Bellaire (The Nice House on the Lake) and letters by Tom Napolitano (The Joker).  Odin will run nine issues starting May 6.

The main A Cover for all the series issues will be by Alex Eckman-Lawn (Exquisite Corpses).  Issue #1 will additionally have covers by Letizia Cadonici (1:10), Christian Ward (1:25), Martin Simmonds (1:50), and Jae Lee (1:100), as well as a blank sketch variant and a “stealth variant”.

Tiny Onion launched in February 2024 (see “James Tynion IV Launches Tiny Onion”) and publishes titles through Image Comics,  Dark Horse Comics (see “‘True Weird’ Comics to Dark Horse“), and Inklore (see “James Tynion IV Signs 12-Book Deal“).
