Keyrune, Inc. announced their merger with Best Coast Pairings to create Galactic Event Studio.
Keyrune Inc. is the company behind Melee.gg, one of the largest TCG event and tournament operation and organization platforms that provides support for over 6,000 retail stores (see “Melee.gg Platform“). Best Coast Pairings (BCP) is another prominent event software company that primarily provides support for miniatures and board game events for companies like Games Workshop, Fantasy Flight Games, Mantic Games, Steamforged Games and CATAN Studio. The combined company, Galactic Event Studio, will essentially become a one-stop-shop for organizers and retailers who are looking for a tabletop games event management platform (with the only notable exception being TTRPG events).
“Melee serves top-tier publishers like Wizards of the Coast and their Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour and Regional Championship series, as well as Fantasy Flight Games’s Star Wars: Unlimited TCG, and their competitive series, from their Planetary Qualifiers through the Galactic Championship,” said Scott Elliot, CEO of Keyrune Inc. “Adding the experience and technology of the BCP team will empower Galactic Events Studio to deliver the most effective event registration and tournament tools available.”
The newly-formed Galactic Events Studio team is currently creating a unified login for BCP and Melee.gg users. They will also be demoing their Match Manager software at GAMA Expo.
