Renegade Game Studios will release Axis & Allies: Zombies, a new version of the classic board game, into retail in September 2026.
In this alternate history edition of Axis & Allies, the year is 1941 and the Axis are winning the war, but the Allied nations are getting prepared to mount a comeback. All of a sudden, zombies show up to terrorize the battlefields. Players assume the roles of commanders of the five major powers in the world as they both plot a strategy to win the war and deal with the freshly risen undead menace.
This standalone game includes a 86-card expansion for Axis & Allies 1942 2E that adds zombies to that game as well. Axis & Allies: Zombies is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90 to 120 minutes. It will retail for $65.00.
Renegade Game Studios has also announced a deckbuilding game based on the Dungeon Crawler Carl novels by Matt Dinniman, and provided some details on the previously announced Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG (see “‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ Deckbuilder“).
