CMON Finalizes Plan to Fulfill Outstanding Crowdfunding Campaigns

Company Says They Will Not Request Additional Money From Backers to Cover Manufacturing Costs

CMON finalized a plan to fulfill its outstanding crowdfunding campaigns, which will occur over the course of 2026 and beyond.

Last year, CMON halted all development on future projects and announced layoffs due to the tariff situation (see “Halts Development of Future Game Projects“). The halt in project development occurred because the company wanted to prioritize delivery on projects that had already been crowdfunded. In general, CMON had remained fairly silent about when backers would receive their games, until January 21, 2026, when the company provided a projected timeline for fulfillment of different campaigns via e-mail (see gallery below).

The company, first and foremost, reaffirmed their commitment to delivering the outstanding games and laid out a few paths for doing so. For some of these games, they will look for IP sales and licensing opportunities with other companies. Other games will be delivered in batches, so that the revenue from retail sales of those games can help fund manufacturing other remaining products in the line. The will also work to optimize logistics and manufacturing where possible.

CMON wrapped up their announcement by mentioning that they will not be asking for more money from backers to cover manufacturing costs, and that the cost of fulfilling the outstanding campaigns is entirely a responsibility of their company.  They also promised to communicate more responsibly as this fulfillment process continues.
