Dark Horse Comics, in collaboration with Avatar Studios, launched a new Avatar: The Last Airbender graphic anthology series.
The new anthology series is titled Avatar Legends: Masters of Elements, and is comprised of short stories that feature Yangchen, Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korra. These stories are set in locations like the Western Air Temple, the ramen houses of the Fire Nation, and other iconic places in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The first volume of this softcover series showcases work by Brandon Hoang, Dave Scheidt, David M. Booher, Rachel Silverstein, Benjamin Wilgus, Amy Chu, Meredith McClaren, BellBessa, Kelly and Nichole Matthews, Ingrid Kan, Xanthe Bouma, Bailie Rosenlund, and others, and hit stores on July 14, 2026 (MSRP $13.99).
Dark Horse also announced the second volume of Avatar: The Last Airbender Chibis (see “Kids’ Graphic Novels“), entitled Sokka’s Boomerang Class. The Chibis line is aimed at young readers, and this particular story revolves are around Sokka showing off his talent as a master boomerang thrower. It was written by Kelly Leigh Miller with illustrations by Ruka Ito and lettering by Jimmy Betancourt, and arrives in stores on July 21, 2026 (MSRP $8.99).
