Dark Horse Comics is launching a monthly print catalog as it enters the 40th year since its founding in 1986.
The Dark Horse print catalog continues the transition from the monthly Diamond Previews catalog, which at one time listed almost every product destined for comic stores, to the post-Diamond era in which comic publishers are split between multiple distributors. The final issue of Diamond Previews was the October 2025 issue listing December 2025 releases (see “’Diamond Previews’ Comes to an End”). Diamond Previews was canceled by Sparkle Pop, which acquired the Diamond Comic Distributors comic and merch assets in May.
The first issue of the Dark Horse print catalog will be released in April with comics on sale in July and books on sale in August. Comic stores will order the print catalog from their distributor to be given away to consumers.
