Asmodee will release Otters, a new a tactical card game by Rebel Studio, into retail on January 30, 2025.
In this game, players become cute but vicious otters that are diving for pearls. Players will play a card on their turn to pick up pearls, attack other otters, defend against attacks, or avoid the ever-treacherous sea urchins. The whimsically chaotic gameplay also offers ways of stealing pearls, swapping pearl point values, and disrupting opponents’ action. The goal of the game is for players to collect the most value in pearls and achieve glory amongst their semiaquatic peers as the best pearl diver.
This game is for three to five players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. It will retail for $14.99.
Asmodee will release Oh My Socks!, a new card game by Helvetiq, into retail (see “‘Oh My Socks!’“).
