DC Comics graphic novels, manhwa, and Invincible collections dominate the charts of the Top 20 best-selling Superhero and Author graphic novels according to Circana (formerly NPD) BookScan data for November 2025 (11/2/25 – 11/29/25) provided to ICv2. Manga dominates the overall graphic novel market so heavily that it took all but one slot in the Adult Top 20 (see “November 2025 Circana BookScan“).
DC dominates the Superhero chart, with 13 of the Top 20 titles. The first volume of Absolute Batman is at number one, as it has since its release in August (see “August 2025 Circana BookScan“). That’s the paperback version; the hardcover, which was number two for the first two months, has dropped further down the chart. Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman, also August releases, are still in the Top 20 as well, but only the paperbacks. And the newest Absolute graphic novel, Absolute Martian Manhunter, debuts at number 5, with the hardcover at number 13.
Five DC Compact Comics titles, including the newly released V for Vendetta, are also in the Top 20.
Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire is at number two, after debuting on the October chart at number 14; the buzz around the final season of Stranger Things (see “‘Stranger Things 5’ Breaks Record“) is likely bringing new interest to this title.

The first and the most recent volumes of Solo Leveling top the Author chart, with three more volumes in the lower ranks. While this chart is more varied than the superhero chart, it’s worth noting the strong manhwa presence, with two volumes of Under the Oak Tree and the most recent volume of Villains Are Destined to Die making a total of eight Korean graphic novels in the Top 20.
Robert Kirkman’s Invincible is the next most significant property, with the three volumes of the Invincible Compendium, plus the first trade and the new Invincible Universe: Battle Beast making a total of five Invincibles.
The hardcover edition of Lore Olympus, which debuted at number 3 on the October chart, is back at number 11, but the paperback has dropped out of the Top 20.
Also worth noting is Vol. 1 of Monsters We Make, the graphic novel by YouTuber CoryxKenshin that sold over 200,000 copies as a self-published graphic novel before being picked up for direct market distribution by IDW Publishing (see “IDW to Distribute ‘Monsters We Make’ to Retail“); it’s at number 9.
