DC Comics will collect the Elseworlds stores starring Superman, beginning with Elseworlds: Superman Omnibus Vol. 1. Writers include Neal Barrett Jr., Jon Bogdanove, Kurt Busiek and others; artists include Dusty Abell, Eduardo Barreto, Frank Gomez and others.
The new volume will include Elseworld stories from Superman: Speeding Bullets #1, Superman: The Man of Steel Annual #3 and #5, Superman Annual #6 and #8, Steel Annual #1, Adventures of Superman Annual #6 and #8, Superboy Annual #1 and #3, Action Comics Annual #6 and #8, Superman: Kal #1, Superman: At Earth’s End #1, Supergirl Annual #1, Superman/Wonder Woman: Whom Gods Destroy #1-4, Superman’s Metropolis #1, Superman: Distant Fires #1, and Superman: The Dark Side #1-3.
The 1232-page hardback will be released on April 7 at $150.00 MSRP. This will make a nice companion volume to the Batman Elseworld omnibus, which is being released in March (see “DC to Omnibize Batman Elseworld Stores“).
