Marvel to Collect 'X-Men: Messiah' Trilogy for the First Time

Marvel Comics will collect the three-volume X-Men: Messiah crossover event in a single omnibus volume for the first time.  The crossover ran in three parts: X-Men: Messiah Complex, Messiah War, and Second Coming, from 2007-2010, and was written by Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, Mike Carey, Craig Kyle, Christopher Yost, Peter David, Duane Swierczynski, and Zeb Wells, with art by Marc Silvestri, Billy Tan, Terry Dodson, Chris Bachalo, Humberto Ramos, Scot Eaton, Larry Stroman, Jamie McKelvie, Ariel Olivetti, Mike Choi, Clayton Crain, Stuart Immonen, David Finch, Ibraim Roberson, and Greg Land, among others.  The 1112-page X-Men: The Messiah Trilogy Omnibus will include X-Men: Messiah Complex One-Shot (2007); Uncanny X-Men (1981) #492-494, 523-525; X-Men (1991) #205-207; New X-Men (2004) #44-46; X-Factor (2005) #25-27; X-Men: Messiah Complex – Mutant Files (2007); X-Men: The Times and Life of Lucas Bishop (2009) #1-3; Cable (2008) #11-15; X-Force/Cable: Messiah War One-Shot (2009); X-Force (2008) #14-16 and 26-28; X-Men: Future History – The Messiah War Sourcebook (2009); Second Coming: Prepare (2009); Second Coming (2010) #1-2; New Mutants (2009) #12-14; and X-Men Legacy (2008) #235-237.  The hardcover will go on sale on June 23, 2026, with an MSRP of $125 and two covers, a main cover by David Finch and a direct market exclusive cover by Adi Granov.

Marvel has also announced a collection of Garth Ennis’s Punisher/Nick Fury stories (see “Hardcover Omnibus”).
