Riot Games revealed new details for Spiritforged, a new booster set for Riftbound TCG. It will hit stores on February 13, 2026.
Spiritforged, the second installment of Riftbound TCG (see “Second Set“), focuses on the weapons and equipment used on the battlefield. It adds an Equipment sub-type to the game, which are cards that can be attached to units to give them a boost. These cards remain in play even if the unit they were attached to leaves play.
Other mechanics include Gold tokens that can be spent to obtain a Power resource (a new cost to play certain cards). The Gold mechanic is featured on a new Champion card, Draven, Vanquisher, who creates these tokens as he conquers the battlefield. The set also features a Repeat mechanic for spells that doubles the spell’s effect if the cost is paid twice. For collectors, the set also includes 12 new Spirit Blossom-themed Overnumbered cards.
