Upper Deck Entertainment has placed Legendary: DC Comics Core Set, a new deck-building game, onto preorder. This game is expected to hit retail in Q2 2026.
This game was first announced in late October 2025 (see “DC Universe Goes ‘Legendary’“). In this standalone game, players will draft decks to do battle in the DC Universe. The new content included in this game is an array of new DC Heroes as well as Masterminds and Sidekicks. The game also features Hope and Fear tracker mechanics that can trigger special abilities during gameplay, and all new DC artwork for on the cards.
The game comes with 500 cards, a rulebook, a metal tracker, a playmat, and 60 dividers. It is for one to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 to 60 minutes. It will retail for $99.99.
