Unveils First ‘Legendary Series: Matte Dual Art’ Sleeves Featuring Iconic Characters
Arcane Tinmen unveiled their first Magic: The Gathering: Legendary Series Matte Dual Art sleeves release, for the Dragon Shield line, which will hit retail on December 12, 2025.
This new line of Matte Dual Art Sleeves follows up on the earlier announced Landfall Series of sleeves (see “‘Magic: The Gathering’s’ Fetch Lands“). The line will feature artwork of fan-favorite characters from Magic: The Gathering printed on the back of Dragon Shield sleeves. These sleeves are ideal for protecting Commander decks that are based around the legendary creature printed on the back of the sleeve.
The first legendary creature to be printed on the back of sleeves in this line is The Ur-Dragon. This character is a top-tier Commander and if nothing else, a dragon that will appeal to fantasy fans. Each box comes with 100 sleeves and fits standard-sized trading cards. They will retail for $24.99.
