Stonemaier Games has announced plans for a series of Wingspan Fan-Designed Bird Cards promo packs, with six packs revealed so far. The packs will be released into distribution in the first quarter.
The Fan-Designed Bird Cards were developed under the direction of fan creation coordinator Travis Willse and Wingspan designer Elizabeth Hargrave, based on submissions from fans of the game. Each pack features birds from regions that have already been explored in the Wingspan series but which did not appear in the original sets.
The packs come with 25 bird cards plus any rules clarifications and design credits printed on additional cards included in the pack. The regions featured include:
- Canada
- Continental Europe
- Britain
- New Zealand
- Asia
- USA
The Wingspan Fan-Designed Bird Cards packs will be sold individually with an MSRP of $10.00 each.

Earlier this year, the company launched Finspan, a fish-themed Wingspan spin-off (see “Stonemaier Gets Fishy with ‘Finspan’”).
