Arcane Wonders will release Leylines next month, with Buffet Boss launching early next year.
Created by Daryl Andrews (Sagrada, Mistwind) and Wolfgang Kramer (El Grande, The Princes of Florence), adapted from Kramer’s 1987 Spiel des Jahres-winning Auf Achse, Leylines invites players to travel along mystical leylines to explore an enchanted forest as they pick up and deliver their produce to various shops. Movement is controlled through die rolls, but players can use item and assistant cards they collect during their voyages to modify their rolls and movement or earn bonus points for deliveries.
Leylines is intended for two to six players, ages 10 and up. Games take a little under an hour to play. Features acrylic standees and wooden components. MSRP is $49.99.
In Buffet Boss, the players must test their dexterity and balance skills as they try to pile the highest and tastiest assortment of buffet food on their curved plate. Points are awarded for the tallest stack and for collecting hard-to-stack foods, but also for completing their individual goals. During the game, players draft the food items they desire and then attempt to add them to their plate. If they can’t, they must toss them out.
