Mighty Boards unveiled For the Gods!, a new area control game, which will head to Kickstarter in Q1 2026.
In this game, designed by Trevor Benjamin, Brett J. Gilbert and David Thompson, players assume the roles of ancient seafarers attempting to gain control of the Greek islands. They will sail the seas looking to create new temples and rebuild existing ones, all while picking up god stones along the way. The god stones give them access to god powers, which will help them navigate the archipelago while constructing monuments to appease the divinities that watch over them.
This game is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 to 60 minutes.
Mighty Boards also recently announced its heist game Pinched!, created by David Gordon and Jonathan Gilmour-Long (see “‘Pinched!’“).
