Ize Press, the manhwa imprint of Yen Press, has acquired the license to Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, the sequel to the best-selling series Solo Leveling. Like the original, the sequel is produced by Redice Studio, but the new series has a different creative team: It is based on a novel by Daul and adapted by Brix with art by Jin. Solo Leveling follows a hunter, Sung Jin-woo, who initially presents as weak but turns out to have unusual powers. The sequel follows his son, Sooho Sung, a college student whose own powers are awakened when monsters attack his campus. Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is currently available as a vertical-scroll comic on the Tapas platform, where it has 1.3 million views, and the first volume of the print edition will be released in Summer 2026.
The 13th volume of Solo Leveling was released in August 2025 and topped the Circana BookScan chart that month (see “August 2025 Circana BookScan”). The series is also the top webtoon property in comic stores, according to ComicHub (see “Top Webtoon Properties, Spring 2025”), propelled in part by the anime, which streams on Crunchyroll. It will end with Vol. 14 in March 2026.
