Second TCG Set Adds More Box Toppers to Displays, Offers Serialized Cards; Preview Images in Gallery
DevSisters Corp. recently released Age of Heroes and Kingdoms, a new booster set for CookieRun: Braverse TCG, into U.S. markets.
The second set contains all sorts of new Cookies to dip into the action, and is decidedly excellent follow-up effort to the first set (see “Going on a ‘CookieRun’ in the ‘Braverse’“). This set has some new bells and whistles as far as the format of the booster displays go. The new displays now come with multiple box toppers: a game currency redemption card, a Promotion Vol. 3 and 4 Pack, and a Stormbringer Promo Pack.
Of the three promo items, the Stormbringer Promo Pack seems the most significant of the group for collectors as it may contain serialized promo cards. These serialized cards significantly increase the overall collectability of the CookieRun: Braverse TCG, creating some more value to incentivize fans to open booster boxes for this set. The Game Currency Redemption cards are also an incentive to buy boosters for crossover fans who are into playing the mobile game as well.
This set is also a bit larger as it contains 232 regular cards and 73 “hidden” cards (parallels). Collectors can chase a total of 30 super rares and 22 ultra rares in packs for this set. Booster displays come with 28 packs; each pack has 9 cards. Displays will retail for $97.72; they are available exclusively through ACD Distribution.
