Ravensburger will release The Castles of Burgundy (Special Edition), a high-end version of Castles of Burgundy, into retail in fall 2025.
This is the definitive edition of Castles of Burgundy, by Hall of Fame board game designer Stefan Feld (see ” Hall of Fame Inducts Three“), that was first released in 2023 via Gamefound by Awaken Realms. In this game, players assume the roles of aristocrats charged with building up a princedom, using castles, tradesman, and silver mines, to become a great kingdom. The special edition offers players a complete re-design of art and layout as well as premium components. It also has extra components that enhance gameplay, such as double-layered player boards, special bags for hexes, 30% bigger tiles, or metal coins.
The game supports one to four players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 70 to 120 minutes.
