Alderac Entertainment Group will release Misfit Heroes, a new fantasy card game, into retail on April 3, 2026.
In this game, designed by Phil Walker-Harding, players are tasked with putting together crews of bizarre heroes to protect the realm of Absurdia. The game utilizes card sleeves and character cards to change the attributes of the heroes prior to the beginning of the game. Players will perform special actions during gameplay to earn money, draw more cards, and gain influence over different regions of Absurdia. Players gain points for influence and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Misfit Heroes is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes. It will retail for $39.99.
Alderac Entertainment Group and Flatout Games recently released Knitting Circle, a new cozycore follow-up to Flatout’s Calico (see “‘Knitting Circle’“).
