Leeanne M. Krecic has moved her Eisner-nominated webtoon Let’s Play to the Tapas platform and will launch the fourth season there, after cancelling it on Webtoon in 2022, citing disputes over the platform’s handling of the property (see “Top Comic on Webtoon Won’t Return for New Season”). At the time, Let’s Play had 4.8 million subscribers, making it one of the top titles on the platform. The comic went live on Tapas on September 29, 2025, and has 24,5000 views as of this writing.
The Let’s Play anime premieres on Crunchyroll on October 1, 2025.
Rocketship Entertainment publishes the comic in print and has released five volumes so far; it is one of their best-selling titles (see “ICv2 Interview: Rocketship Entertainment Publisher & CEO Tom Akel”). The crowdfunding campaign for the sixth volume is currently under way and has almost $150,000 in pledge. Rocketship is working on a tabletop game based on the series, and Bioworld will release Let’s Play merch in Hot Topic stores beginning in November.
