People have been coming and going over the last few weeks in the games industry. Here’s a quick round-up of where they ended up!
Steamforged Games expanded their trade team by hiring two new people, Kieran Wilson and Rob Dunbar. Wilson will become SFG’s new Business Manager, and Dunbar will be their new Account Manager. In their new roles, they will provide service and support for SFG’s network of trade partners.
“We’ve experienced incredible growth in a short space of time with the continued success of our own IP lines, such as Epic Encounters, our AAA licensed offerings, and most recently Warmachine and P3 Paint. We know that the best way to support this growth is by investing in people,” said Toby Davies, Commercial Director. “The experience, industry knowledge and passion Rob and Kieran have brought to the team will ensure our trade partners continue to receive the premium, responsive service they deserve.”
Luma Imports has hired Keven Krieger as their Business Development Manager. Krieger previously held the title of Senior Buyer at Flat River Group and worked with Luma in that capacity until he left to pursue a career in local politics. He returns to the games industry to work with Luma as they start their run under the ACD banner (see “Acquires Luma Imports“).
“Keven comes with a wealth of experience and industry knowledge that will be a benefit to the entire ACD family,” said Jules Vautour, Director of Luma. “This addition will help us accelerate the growth of Luma Imports, enhance the experience our vendors have with us, and deliver stronger customer support overall.”
Secretary Monica Rasso has left the GAMA board. She served on the board for five years as one of the first elected board members after the restructuring of the board in 2020 (see “Election Results“). GAMA will hold a special election for her Media & Events seat, a term that lasts until March 30, 2027.Source: ICv2
