New Omnibus to Collect Kieron Gillen's 'Uncanny X-Men'

Marvel will omnibize Kieron Gillen’s run on Uncanny X-Men, which included the end of one era of the series and the beginning of another, as well as two crossovers. The volume includes S.W.O.R.D. (2009) #1-5; Uncanny X-Men (1981) #534.1 and 535-544; X-Men: Regenesis (2011) #1; Uncanny X-Men (2011) #1-20; and AVX: Consequences (2012) #1-5. The pencillers for these series include Steven Sanders, Carlos Pacheco, Terry Dodson, Ibraim Roberson, Greg Land, Billy Tan, Brandon Peterson, Dustin Weaver, Daniel Acuña, Ron Garney, Dale Eaglesham, Tom Raney, Steven Kurth, Scot Eaton, Mark Brooks, and Gabriel Hernandez Walta. Marvel will publish the 1,000-page hardcover, rated T+, on April 14, 2026, with an MSRP of $125 and two covers, one by Dodson and a direct market-exclusive cover by Pacheco.

Gillen began writing the series as a co-author with Uncanny X-Men (1981) #534.1 and became sole writer with #535. In 2011, Marvel cancelled the series and relaunched it, again with Gillen as the writer (see “Marvel Replaces ‘Uncanny X-Men’ with Two Titles”).
