Magic: The Gathering in 2026 features Marvel, Star Trek, The Hobbit, and More

Wizards of the Coast have been figuring out the magic balance with Magic: The Gathering by releasing sets expanding the worlds of Planeswalkers while also exploring whole new worlds and properties with Universes Beyond. Today, the game publisher has released a timeline of what we can expect for 2026 which features an interesting mix including new properties for the popular card game.

Here’s what we now know is coming:

September 26, 2025 Marvel’s Spider-Man
November 21, 2025: Avatar: the Last Airbender

2026

January 23, 2026: Lorwyn Eclipsed
March: Unannounced Universes Beyond (rumored to be Nickelodeon or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
April: Secrets of Strixhaven
June: Marvel Super Heroes
August: The Hobbit
October: Reality Fracture
November: Star Trek

That’s 4 Universes Beyond sets and 3 of the main line.
