Mad Cave Studios will publish the first English print edition of Vincent Van Gogh: Sadness Will Last Forever, by the Italian journalist, essayist, and writer Francesco Barilli and artist Sakka. The story is told as a dialogue between Van Gogh and his own mental illness, in which he narrates and meditates on the milestones of his life. The graphic novel was originally published as a comiXology Original in 2023. Mad Cave will release the 128-page paperback on February 24, 2026, with an MSRP of $19.99.
