Oni Press is bringing back the holiday-themed horror comic EC Comics ShiverSuspenStories for its second annual outing. EC Comics Shiver SuspenStories 2 #1 will feature new stories by writers David M. Booher, Melissa Flores, George Northy, and Ben H. Winters artists Lukas Ketner, Sami Kivelä, Leomacs, and Dan McDaid as well as a classic EC Comics story restored to its original coloring. The 56-page one-shot will be released on December 10, 2025, with an MSRP of $8.99 and covers by Dustin Weaver and Adam Hughes, a 1:10 EC Homage variant by Shawn McManus, a 1:20 black and white Artist Edition variant of Weaver’s cover, and a 1:50 Archive Edition variant by Rian Hughes.
Shiver SuspenStories #1 was released in December 2024 and was the first of several planned extra-size specials (see “Oni Press Expands EC Comics Line”) and was one of the top 50 comics, in terms of dollar sales, in its release month (see “Top 50 Comics – December 2024”).
