Vault Comics has revealed the title and point-of-view character of their upcoming Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel. Dungeon Crawler Carl: Crocodile, by series creator Matt Dinniman, writer Michael Moreci, and artist Brett Bean, will be told from the point of view of the mercenary Florin DuPont and will reveal the origin of the Crocodilian Shotgun Messenger. The new story, the first Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel, will be part of the series canon.
The graphic novel, first announced by Vault in August 2025 (see “Vault to Publish ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ Graphic Novel”), will be crowdfunded on BackerKit with a campaign launching on October 1 and then released to retail via Lunar and Universal for the direct market and Simon & Schuster for the book channel
