Capstone Games has placed Sanctuary, a new Ark Nova game, onto preorder. It is expected to ship in Q4 2025.
In this game, designed by Matthias Wigge, players are tasked with building a scientifically managed zoo using 135 possible unique tiles. Players will need to build out their zoo map by placing different tiles in spots that help achieve conservation goals as well as make the zoo more attractive to visitors. This medium-weight game is a more streamlined Ark Nova experience that refines mechanics and ideas from the previous game (see “‘Ark Nova’“).
Sanctuary supports one to five players, plays in 60 minutes, and will retail for $59.99.
