Chaosium will release Basic Roleplaying: Creatures, a new RPG bestiary book, into retail on November 12, 2025.
Basic Roleplaying: Creatures is a sourcebook that features a collection of animals, monsters, nonhumans, and nonplayer characters for use with the Basic Roleplaying: The Universal Engine (see “‘Basic Roleplaying: The Universal Game Engine’“) and other D100 systems. There are over 200 creatures in the book as well as rules for modifying them. These creatures have been drawn from different genres, including science fiction, fantasy, prehistory, history, mythology, and the modern world.
This book will retail for $39.99.
