- “Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin!”: Blaziken becomes the first Pokémon to Mega Evolve in Pokémon the Series.

- Mega Kangaskhan dominated the 2015 Pokémon Video Game World Championships, with six of the eight top teams utilizing the popular “CHALK” lineup: Cresselia, Heatran, Amoonguss, Landorus, and Mega Kangaskhan. Shoma Honami won it all with his version of this team.
- Mega Rayquaza and Mega Gengar teamed up to win the 2016 Pokémon Video Game World Championships for Wolfe Glick.
- Mega Kangaskhan-EX was the star of Michikazu Tsuda’s deck, leading him to a Top 4 finish at the 2014 Pokémon TCG World Championships.
- Shintaro Ito won the Pokémon TCG Masters World Championships in 2016 with the Mega Audino-EX deck.
