Fireside Games will release Please Don’t Burn My Village, a new card game, into retail on June 25, 2025.
In this game, set in the world of Castle Panic (see “‘Castle Panic 2E’“), villages are being menaced by a greedy dragon who extorts villagers out of their treasures. In order to prevent the dragon from burning down their village, players must come up with different Treasure cards to bribe the dragon. Each turn players can either bribe the dragon, buy more treasure on the black market, or draw treasure cards. To make sure they give the dragon the best treasure, they also curse other players’ treasure cards. When the treasure runs out, the game ends and the player with the highest score wins and saves their village.
This game is for two to five players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 20 to 30 minutes. It will retail for $24.95.
