For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is honored to display a beautiful illustration of the incredible Vocaii (Vocakaii). He participated in the fifth generation of Pokédex Ilustrada, the extraordinary project organized by the dream team of Ilustradoras Unidas.
For him, art is a way to express his emotions by creating beautiful things.
“Seeing how I manage to design the ideas I imagine always fills me with so much joy.”
Vocaii sees Pokémon as a big part of his childhood: “When I was young, I didn’t have consoles or a PC to play, so I loved watching the Anime Series on TV.”
He revealed to the Pokémon Blog Team that he feels very happy whenever the opportunity to draw something Pokémon-related arises.
“I love the Pokémon Universe, so from time to time I draw my original characters as if they were part of it,” he shared.
His favorite Pokémon are Piplup and Oshawott because Pokémon Pearl and Black were the first games he played when he had the chance to play something from the franchise.
“These games impacted me so much, so these two Water-type starters from these two incredible games mean everything to me,” he concluded.
