Get ready to take down Psychic‑themed decks to earn promo cards featuring exclusive artwork—including one brand-new to Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Pokémon TCG Pocket is holding a Cresselia ex drop event from February 2, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. to February 16, 2025, at 9:59 p.m. PST. This event features solo battles against Psychic-type decks and is an incredible opportunity to test out your Darkness-themed decks (Weezing, anyone?) and pick up exciting rewards! Fight your way through four tiers of battles, each one tougher than the last—along the way, you can earn cool items, such as a Cresselia ex promo card featuring exclusive artwork.
The Pokémon TCG Pocket Cresselia ex drop event will feature a myriad of Psychic-type Pokémon, so make sure your Darkness types are ready for battle! Here are the five cards you can earn by participating in this event:
You will need event stamina to participate in event battles. Event stamina can be recovered over time and by using event hourglasses. Every time you win a Cresselia ex drop event solo battle, you’ll use one event stamina. The first time you win one of the battles, you can earn rewards such as pack hourglasses, shinedust, shop tickets, and a pack containing one of the event’s featured promo cards. After that, every time you beat a Cresselia ex solo battle again, you’ll have a chance to win a promo card pack, shinedust, or a shop ticket. Also, be sure to take note of each battle’s one-time individual challenges. You can complete them to earn event hourglasses and wonder hourglasses, even if you don’t win the match.
Cresselia ex has the Lunar Plumage Ability, which heals it for 20 damage whenever you attach a 
Energy from your Energy Zone to this Pokémon. You can combine Cresselia ex with cards that emphasize healing or bulk, such as Potion or Giant Cape, or you could run it with cards that grant Energy acceleration, such as Gardevoir, to attach more Energy per turn. There are plenty of ways to take advantage of Cresselia ex’s potential, so be sure to give it a try if you’re fortunate enough to add one to your collection.
Battle smart and, above all, don’t forget to have fun unleashing darkness upon Cresselia ex and its allies. Keep an eye out for future Pokémon TCG Pocket events!

Pokemon TCG Pocket allows you to open two booster packs every day at no cost.
