Pandasaurus Games announced Shackleton Base: A Journey to the Moon, a new board game, which will hit stores in August 2025.
In this game, players are tasked with leading space agencies that are looking to establish a space base in the center of the Shackleton center at the Moon’s South Pole. Three corporations have sponsored this mission, and they each have their own set of goals (the game comes with seven unique corporations to play with, but only three are chosen each game). Players will need to utilize Engineers, Scientists and Technicians in the various areas of the board to meet their agency’s objectives. The space agency with the most victory points at the end wins the game.
The game supports one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-120 minutes. It will retail for $69.95.
Pandasaurus Games also announced Rivages, a new draft-and-write game by Catch Up Games, which will hit retail in Q4 2025 (see “‘Rivages’“).
