Maestro Media will release Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Besties Bakeoff, a new card game in the property’s 45th anniversary year. Wildbrain has licensed a wide range of companies, including Maestro, for new products based on the property this year.
Players will bid for cards with characters and items as they try to accumulate collections. Cards used in bidding become the pool for the next round.
Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Besties Bakeoff is for 2-6 players ages 8 and up, and plays in around 30 minutes. It will be released at $19.99 in February 2025.
Maestro is also planning The Smurfs Roleplaying Game, which recently had a successful Kickstarter (see “Maestro Doing ‘The Smurfs RPG’”).
