Deadpool and Wolverine are at it again in Deadpool vs. Wolverine: Slash ‘Em Up, a new one-shot by writer Christos Gage and artist Alan Robinson that was originally published as a vertical-scroll Infinity Comic on Marvel Unlimited. The story takes Deadpool to Madripoor, where he quickly crosses blades with Wolverine. Marvel will publish the one-shot comic on March 26, 2025, with a new main cover by Ron Lim and a variant by Mark Bagley.
“The fact that they have a healing factor, and the fact that we’re walking right up to an R rating without stepping over that line, means we can up the ante in terms of the punishment they can take,” Gage said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “Alan Robinson was so great at drawing Deadpool getting squished that I had him squashed two or three more times than I planned to.”
Deadpool & Wolverine is the second highest-grossing film of 2024 so far (see “‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Passes $300 Million”).
