Play to Z, the board game company formed late last year by Zev Shlasinger (Z-Man), Stephen Buonocore (Stronghold) and other game industry all-stars (see “Schlasinger, Buonocore, Others Launch Play to Z”) has formed a strategic partnership with Shut Up & Sit Down, one of the largest gaming YouTube channels and podcasts. The partnership provides for a new imprint, Shut Up and Sit Down Presents, under which Play to Z will publish games curated and polished by Shut Up & Sit Down.
The first game under this new imprint will be Animal Rescue Team, designed by Matt Leacock (Pandemic, Forbidden Island, more) and animal rescuer Lisa Towell. Players will work to rescue creatures of all sizes in a variety of situations. Animal Rescue Team will be crowdfunded in early 2025 and released to the trade in October 2025.
The second release from this new collaboration will be a remastered version of Dogs of War, originally published by CMON and currently out of print. The new version of the Paolo Mori game will offer more punch at a lower MSRP, with new art from Edu Valls. Dogs of War will be released to the trade in late 2025. Source: ICv2
