Hasbro announced the pre-order date for the new Black Series action figure from The Acolyte, Jedi Master Kelnacca will be up for pre-order December 4, 2024 at 1PM ET at Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers. Kelnacca will retail for $33.99 and is expected to arrive in the Spring of 2025.
With Kelnacca, that pretty much just leaves me needing Qimir and the two main witches from the show, though I suppose I wouldn’t mind Torbin as a Padawan. The figure looks nice, though the fur is a little darker than I’d like. I guess Wookiees are just all going to be deluxe priced from now on? That’s kind of a bummer as Chewie used to be the same price as the standard figures.
Hasbro also announced that SM-33 from the new show Skeleton Crew will be coming eventually. I had heard they were pulling back from “pipeline reveals”, but maybe this is the last one? There are no details at this time, but I’m glad to see that they will be continuing with figures from the show past the initial set of six as the first two episodes were really enjoyable and SM-33, played by the Nick Frost, was a highlight for me. SM-33 is kind of like if K2-S0 was mixed with a skeleton pirate and has some fun fighting moves I’d like to see recreated in figure form. I imagine we’ve got a bit of a wait for this one.
