Team Star Challenge Online Competition now underway in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet until November 10 at 3:59 p.m. PST, the competition is comprised of Single Battles and you can only use Pokémon featured on the teams of Team Star bosses Giacomo, Mela, Atticus, Ortega and Eri

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are now available for Nintendo Switch. Read on below to learn more:

Take on Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet players with Pokémon used by the Team Star bosses.

Prove your allegiance to the Paldea region’s legion of delinquents by battling other Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet players in the Team Star Challenge Online Competition. In-game sign-ups are open now until Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 3:59 p.m. PST, and the competition runs from Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 3:59 p.m. PST.

The competition will be comprised of Single Battles, and you can only use Pokémon featured on the teams of Team Star bosses Giacomo, Mela, Atticus, Ortega, and Eri. Additionally, of the 3–6 Pokémon registered to your team, one of the three Pokémon selected for battle must be a Revavroom. So, sign up for the competition, grab your helmet and star-shaped goggles, and get ready to tell your opponents “hasta la vistar” during the Team Star Challenge.

You may sign up and join this event from the start of the sign-up period to the end of the competition period.

This competition will be comprised of Single Battles using only Pokémon featured on the teams of Team Star bosses (Giacomo, Mela, Atticus, Ortega, and Eri). Additionally, out of the 3–6 Pokémon registered to your team, one of the three Pokémon selected for battle must be a Revavroom.

You must finish at least one match with a win or a loss during the competition period to be eligible for rewards. After the event ends and results are announced, you may be eligible for a participation gift. If a player is unable to receive the participation gift due to ineligibility, we are unable to provide individual support.

Only one user with one set of save data from either Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet may participate per Nintendo Switch™ system. If your Nintendo Account is registered to users on multiple Nintendo Switch systems—even if you play different versions of the game on the different systems—you may participate with only one system per Nintendo Account.

Any Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and Nintendo Account required for online features. Membership auto-renews after initial term at the then-current price unless canceled. Battle data and results will be provided to Nintendo Co., Ltd., and The Pokémon Company (and its subsidiaries).

Players engaging in or exhibiting the following may receive penalties and be restricted from participating in future online events.
• Use of unauthorized methods to alter game save data, use of Pokémon that have data altered via altering code, or Pokémon created through the use of altering code
• Significantly large number of disconnects during battle, from when your opponent has been decided to when the match results have been fully sent to the server (please ensure a stable connection environment when connecting to the internet)
• Troubling behavior that could affect other participants or make others feel unpleasant
• Actions that would obstruct battles and operations, such as hacking
• Registering with incorrect information or impersonating another player
• Using multiple Nintendo Accounts to participate in the same competition
• Intentionally manipulating wins and losses by using multiple devices or sets of save data (or collaborating with others to do so)
• Other actions that operation hosts determine to be inappropriate
