The Pokémon Company has revealed more details about Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet. Read on below to learn more:
The card text change for Minior and Venusaur & Snivy-GX will be effective immediately.
Due to an error in the card text for Minior (Scarlet & Violet—Paradox Rift 099/182 and 201/182) and Venusaur & Snivy-GX (Sun & Moon—Cosmic Eclipse 1/236, 210/236, and 249/236; Sun & Moon Promo Cards SM229) the text of these cards will be updated. The original text for Minior’s Far-Flying Meteor Ability was:
- Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is on your Bench, when you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon, you may switch it with your Active Pokémon.
The original intention was to be able to use this Ability whenever you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon, not just once per turn. It is possible to use this Ability more than once per turn.
The new card text for Minior’s Far-Flying Meteor Ability will be:
- During your turn, if this Pokémon is on your Bench, whenever you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon, you may switch it with your Active Pokémon.
A similar error occurred on Venusaur & Snivy-GX’s Shining Vine Ability. The original text for Shining Vine was:
- Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, when you attach a Energy card from your hand to it, you may switch 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon with their Active Pokémon.
The new card text for Venusaur & Snivy-GX’s Shining Vine Ability will be:
- During your turn, if this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, whenever you attach a Energy card from your hand to it, you may switch 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon with their Active Pokémon.
Effective immediately, Minior’s Far-Flying Meteor Ability and Venusaur & Snivy-GX’s Shining Vine Ability will use this updated text instead of the original text. This will be reflected in the Pokémon TCG Errata document.
