Dolphin Hat Games is taking its hit party game where few card games have dared to go with the waterproof Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza Poolside! edition releasing in November.
Originally released in 2018, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is an active party game in which players are called upon to perform certain physical antics as they flip certain cards from their deck, such as slapping the discard pile or acting like a gorilla. The slowest player must take cards as a penalty, and the first player to get rid of all their cards is the winner.
The Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza Poolside! version offers the same gameplay with durable waterproof cards specifically designed for outdoor play in environments that are ill-suited to traditional cards. The deck also includes a travel clip for easy transport.
The game is intended for two to eight players, ages seven and up, and takes about ten minutes to play. MSRP is $14.99.
Since its release, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza has spawned a 2023 FIFA Woman’s World Cup Edition (see “Dolphin Hat Games Will Release ‘Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza: 2023 FIFA Woman’s World Cup Edition’”) and a stand-alone follow-up version with new action cards (see “Dolphin Hat Games Will Release ‘Wild Wild Taco’”).
