Chaosium has confirmed that the ElfQuest RPG 40th anniversary reissue will launch on Kickstarter on October 29th. This new Deluxe 2″ boxed set will include all the original material from the game’s 1984 release, along with supplements.
The ElfQuest RPG, based on the popular comic series by Wendy and Richard Pini, was first published in 1984 using Chaosium’s Basic Roleplaying system (BRP). The game was developed by Steve Perrin, Sandy Petersen, and Yurek Chodak, featuring artwork by Wendy Pini, which has been a key element for fans of the series.
Rick Meints will lead the reissue, having worked on previous successful Chaosium projects, such as Call of Cthulhu Classic and RuneQuest Classic. Wendy and Richard Pini will also be involved in the reissue’s development and presentation.
