Let Slip the Dogs of War follows Colonel Hank Mallory and his Ghost Dogs as they defend the planet Hammer from the Marian Hegemony. Despite being outnumbered, the Ghost Dogs must strategize to protect the capital and complete their mission. The novella is available for $2.99 and includes an ebook file compatible with most e-readers.
BattleTech: Hounds at Bay (Fortunes of War #4) by Geoff Swift
Hounds at Bay tells the story of Lieutenant Shane Atkins and the Coursing Hounds mercenary unit. After a Jade Falcon task force lands on their assigned planet, Shane and his team embark on a campaign to disrupt the enemy. The novella is part of the BattleTech Mercenaries Kickstarter campaign, so backers of the campaign will already have access.
