SoloQ, an RPG-inspired weekly planner, offers a creative way to blend personal goal-setting with the mechanics of role-playing games. By allowing users to create characters, complete quests, and level up, SoloQ transforms daily planning into a more interactive experience.
SoloQ combines the functionality of a planner with the excitement of an RPG. Users can design a character, set goals as quests, and track their progress throughout the year. The planner uses familiar RPG elements like experience points, leveling up, and quests to keep users motivated and engaged in their daily routines.
The 2025 edition, Whispers of the Tides, features a fully developed campaign. Players are drawn into a narrative where their character receives a mysterious message, leading to a seafaring adventure filled with new friends and dangerous enemies. The campaign is spread over four dungeons and evolves based on the user’s choices and progress.
Each SoloQ user creates a character with a Character Card bookmark, allowing them to track their personal and character progress throughout the year. Monthly and daily goals are presented as challenges, where users complete tasks to earn XP. As users progress, they level up both in their real-life goals and in their RPG journey.
The creators of SoloQ plan to release a new edition each year, with new campaigns, characters, and artwork.
SoloQ’s Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed its initial goal, raising $13,048 from 169 backers with 23 days remaining. The campaign will close on October 18, 2024, offering several pledge tiers that include the planner, accessories like Jumbo Arrowhead Paperclips, a Liquid Core D20, and a Premium SoloQ Tote.
