The Kickstarter campaign for Fogliokens, a set of custom gaming tokens featuring artwork by Phil Foglio, is now live.
The Fogliokens project introduces 36 custom tokens, each featuring new artwork by Phil Foglio, an artist well-known for his contributions to Magic: The Gathering. The tokens are packaged in a custom tuck box, with potential upgrades like additional tokens, enhanced packaging, and a gilt edge, which can be unlocked through stretch goals as the campaign progresses.
Phil Foglio has illustrated 60 cards for Magic: The Gathering since his debut in the Arabian Nights set. His latest work appeared in Double Masters 2022. Fogliokens is a new venture, expanding his iconic artwork to custom gaming tokens for Magic players.
In addition to the regular tokens, the project includes a 100% metal Monarch token, featuring Foglio’s new painting “The Goblin Queen,” inspired by his previous Goblin King illustration from Fifth Edition. This exclusive metal token is available in The Monarch Bundle and Collector’s Bundle reward tiers and can also be added on for all backers.
As of now, Fogliokens has raised $25,027, far surpassing its initial goal of $3,400. With 22 days left, the campaign will run until October 18th, with more features and upgrades possible as additional funding goals are met.
