A new adventure for the Mothership RPG has arrived on Kickstarter. Titled Dead Weight, this 12-page module immerses players in a disaster unfolding aboard the research freighter Adamant Lapis.
In Dead Weight, the deceased are drawn toward the sphere with immense force, wreaking havoc on the ship. As the freighter’s hull groans under the pressure, oxygen begins to leak, and the crew must scramble to survive. The situation quickly escalates into chaos, with each moment drawing players deeper into a perilous scenario.
This module is designed to be run as a one-shot or as part of a longer campaign. Its layout is carefully organized to support smooth play, with detailed descriptions of how the ship reacts to the unfolding disaster. The Adamant Lapis itself is fully destructible, adding a dynamic element to the gameplay.
Available as both a PDF and a printed zine, Dead Weight offers an intense experience that can be slotted into any existing Mothership campaign or played as a standalone adventure.
The Dead Weight campaign will run for another 20 days until October 12th.
